“Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”  I Peter 5:7

Cast Your Cares

Ever seem like problems increase,
 And reasons to stress never cease,
And all you want is a little peace?
Cast all your cares on Jesus!

For you were never meant,
To be burdened and bent,
Beneath worries God never sent!
Cast all your cares on Jesus!

Cares weren’t designed for us to keep,
When we do, we get buried so deep,
God wants us free, to jump and leap,
By casting our cares on Jesus!

His shoulders are broad and strong,
This is where our problems belong,
He wants us to praise Him with a song,
Because we cast our cares on Jesus!

So stop, and with me evaluate,
Worry only increases when we hesitate,
Don’t allow the enemy to intimidate, 
Give all your cares to Jesus!

Then stand strong in the light,
Enjoy His peace through the night,
God for you, did come to fight…
So cast all your cares on Jesus!
