Essentials From Ephesians Part 4
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
God has done everything necessary for us to have a personal relationship with Him! Because of His great love, while we were still dead in our sins, transgressions and disobedience, Christ died to provide access to God.
This good news is declared and affirmed by Jesus raising
from the dead, so we could come alive in Him. Believing in His finished work on the cross by faith, we are brought into the family of God. This reconciliation is entirely based God's grace - His unmeritted favor!
We are saved not by our efforts, our sufficiency or our 'getting it together'. Salvation is completely dependent upon what He has done, not on we do. Receive the truth, turn from your sin, believe in your heart and your walk with Jesus will begin!
