“How precious are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How great is the sum of them!” Psalm 139:17

On His Mind

Ever wondered what God is thinking,
Especially at times when you feel you’re sinking?

Does He really understand?
Can I rely on His faithful hand?

When time seems to speed away,
Another year, or another day,
Do I matter to God anyway?

The Word of God makes it very clear,
In His eyes, you are always near,
Listening closely, He will always hear,
Even in times of deepest fear…

For you are always on His mind,
His thoughts toward you are so kind,
He longs for you to truly find,
That He stands with you in the bind…

And though time is fleeting,
And you just can’t take one more meeting,
And your mind seems to be taking a beating,
His thoughts toward you bring this greeting:
You are always on His mind!

If we could count them all,
His thoughts of us would stand so tall,
To remove all barriers, every wall,
He waits, anticipating our call!
 For you are always on His mind!
