“Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.” John 16:22
Joy Unshakable
What is joy’s true source?
How does one chart joy's course?
Can joy overcome our remorse?
There is a joy no one can take away!
Found in the presence of our King,
Found even when through trials, we can sing,
Found in knowledge of what the morning will bring,
There is a joy unshakable!
Someone has said, when asked to spell,
JOY: “Jesus, Others and You”, yes go tell,
For in God’s joy, oh it is well,
For there is a joy beyond the devil's reach!
Joy, not based upon our circumstance,
Joy, not just some “happenstance”,
Joy, that gift, as with the Lord we dance,
This joy no one can take away!
Sorrows will come and tears will flow,
But these can’t make our joy go,
For our joy is unshakable!
