“…that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.”         I Peter 4:13b


Joy Unspeakable
There are not words enough or adequate speech,
His unending joy goes beyond what we could teach, 
Yet how awesome that incredible joy is to preach,
Joy unspeakable and full of glory!

For not from the mind, but from the heart,
We find the place where this joy does start,
It is a gift, God alone does impart,
Joy unspeakable and full of glory!

So speechless and silent, taking our words away,
This joy flows deeper than our language can say,
Yet in unspeakable torrents of grace we can pray,
With joy unspeakable and full of glory!

God’s joy in us, all exceeding,
Over life’s trials, this joy is pleading,
His joy in us, His grace interceding,
What a joy unspeakable and full of glory!
