Pastor’s Pen for Sunday, June 14, 2020
“…that you, always having all sufficiency in all things,                                                                                       may have an abundance for every good work.” II Cor. 9:8b

Sufficiency
Seems people think things are in short supply,
So they are hoarding stuff, no one can deny,
Store shelves empty, we ask ourselves, Why?
Don’t they know, God will supply?

And even if you do feel you now have enough,
There’s something strange about accumulating stuff,
Will an abundance of things really help when times get rough?
Have we forgotten our God will supply?

So it’s best to cease with endless collection,
Things can never satisfy our need for connection,
It’s time to remember our Lord’s direction,
“I will supply!”

I will supply all your needs, according to My riches in glory,
I’ve done everything needed to complete your story,
Trust Me now, I will supply!
