“Lift up your heads, O you gates, be lifted up you ancient doors,
that the King of glory may come in.” Psalms 24:7
The Crown
So nothing can defeat or tear us down,
Nothing can overwhelm or drown,
Lift up your head, see His crown,
From a crown made with thorn,
Pressed down on His brow,
He understands what makes us mourn,
He knows what we need right now!
So remain faithful,
Come what may,
You rule with the King,
In victory we can sing!
In that day just ahead,
When death itself is dead,
A crown of life will shine,
Jesus, my Crown, is mine!
Christ is Lord!
Let every knee bow,
Shout His name, above all names,
Give Him your crown, here and now!
