Pastor’s Pen for Sunday, December 6, 2020

“My soul magnifies the Lord and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior!  For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed.”  Luke 1:46-48


Songs of the Season: 
Let the Praises Ring!

Our God rich in mercy and love,
Looking down from His throne above,

Regarded our needy estate,
Sent His Son Jesus, no need to hesitate,

To receive the gift of life He brought,
We are the ones for whom God has sought,
Let praises ring!

For with a simple, yet incredible word,
Mary the good news had heard,

‘You will conceive and bring forth a Son,
Jesus, the great, the Holy One’

And He will reign forevermore,
The love of His Kingdom He will pour,
On those singing His praises!

So as we enter this month of December,
Let us rejoice and again remember,

Jesus came to reveal your worth,
Offers us forgiveness, a ‘second birth’,

The greatest gift is found in the Son,
Receive Him, for the work is done,
And the praises will ring!
