Knowing You Know
The journey of recovery is filled with unknowns. Just when you think you are on track, some unexpected detour can arise. These weeks following a major surgery have reminded me of my limited knowledge and need to depend upon His faithfulness.
As stated in I Peter 1:6-8 we read,
"In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so the proven genuineness of your faith - of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire - may result in praise, honor and glory when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy..."
It's not what I know what but He knows that comforts, encourages and strengthens me!
As reflected in a song written by Wendi Joy Green and Connie Harrington called "I Know You Know "
"I know You know, just what I need.
I know You have a plan for me, so I'm going to take Your lead.
And I won't worry what the future holds, cause I know You know...
Lord, You are faithful in everything,
You are the Rock I'm leaning on. "
Joining you in knowing that God knows all about the journey and is with us every step!
