History's G.O.A.T. Event (Greatest of all time)
"But the angel answered and said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus Who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said." Matthew 28:5-6
It's been rightly stated, "If Christ is risen, nothing else matters. And if Christ is not - nothing else matters." All of human history centers on the most important occurrence of all time: the Resurrection of Jesus Christ!
Because He lives we can be assured His death on the cross was sufficient for our forgiveness. Because He lives we can have a personal relationship with God. Because He lives we too shall live!
This is what it all comes down to: "If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith." I Corinthians 15:14 But the Resurrection is a historical fact and it's reality continues to revolutionize people today.
No event parallels, surpasses or even compares to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
It is cornerstone upon which all of history is understood and all of mankind is evaluated. There is no other event like the one discovered on that first Resurrection morning...He is not here for He is risen!
Risen Indeed! Celebrate and live!
