The Philippians Prescription  - Part 5
"...but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me...I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus!" Philippians 3:12 & 14

There's a good reason to keep pressing on.  God has a vision for our lives in Christ.  He has a purpose and plan that is discovered by placing our faith in Jesus and walking with Him. 

There is a goal ahead of the believer.  That goal is to know Him and the power of His resurrection.  In all the situations of life, there is an opportunity to experience and demonstrate how good God is and how great is His love for us. 

There's more to this life than meets the eye.  God is at work to reveal, restore and renew.  He doesn't give up on us, abandon us or walk away.  He calls us upward so we can move onward in His grace. 

Let's like Paul, "press toward the goal of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus"!
